His background includes landscaping, tree care, construction and business operations, and he brings that experience to every project. He leads the team with a focus on quality work, steady systems and a straightforward approach that clients appreciate.
Bobby is involved in the training, planning and growth of the company. He also works directly with clients whenever needed to make sure every project reaches the standard he expects.

Mike Sweeney is the General Manager of Blade Runner Landscapes, where he leads daily operations and new business growth with a focus on clarity, consistency, and responsiveness.
Mike brings a structured, systems-driven approach to landscape management, shaped by his background in both finance and arboriculture. He earned a degree in Finance from Virginia Tech, which informs his disciplined approach to planning, budgeting, and operational oversight. Before joining Blade Runner, Mike worked as a Sales Arborist in Northern Virginia, managing complex projects, supporting new client relationships, and building a reputation for clear communication, accurate scoping, and reliable follow-through.
At Blade Runner, Mike oversees landscape, irrigation, and tree operations while also supporting sales and new business development. He helps ensure estimates are accurate, expectations are clearly set from the start, and new clients experience a smooth, professional transition into ongoing service. His leadership emphasizes predictable scheduling, proactive site reviews, and fast response times.
Mike moved to Austin in October 2025 with his wife Annie and their chocolate lab, Banks. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing and playing guitar.
